Frequently asked questions:
Logistics, Policies & Payment
How do I get started?
To get started, please visit my ‘Contact’ page.
For new massage clients, I’ll ask for your authorization to contact your pet’s veterinarian for a referral and will also ask you to complete a general health history form in advance of our first session with your pet.
For Pet Care (drop-in visits and dog walking), I offer a complimentary 15-minute Meet & Greet for us to get acquainted and go through details of your pet’s care routines.
Is gratuity expected?
No, absolutely not! I realize that it’s becoming more and more common to be prompted to leave a tip in all sorts of businesses these days but genuinely, gratuity is not needed or expected. If you and your pet appreciate my care, please tell your friends, family or neighbors or leave a review on Google!
What is your cancellation policy?
It’s difficult to fill last minute openings on my schedule. I do realize that ‘life happens’ and sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. I ask that you give as much advance notice as you can, and no less than 24-hour notice for cancellations or scheduling changes. Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be subject to a fee equivalent to 50% scheduled service fee.
When is payment due?
Payment is due upon invoice receipt. Depending on your service schedule, I either will invoice same-day (one-off services) or once-weekly (multiple services), and I greatly appreciate prompt payment.
What forms of payment do you take?
I accept cash, check, credit card, ACH and Venmo.
When do "Evening Rates" apply?
Evening rates begin for any walking or drop-in service starting at or after 5:00 PM. Evening rates only apply to walking and drop-in services and do not apply to pet massage.
Do you work on Holidays?
I am available on most holidays with advance notice and for a small surcharge. Holidays include Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving weekend (Thursday through Sunday of Thanksgiving week), and Christmas/New Year's week (Dec 24 through Jan 1).
