Dear friends and neighbors,

I am currently pursuing my Small Animal Massage Therapist certification through the Northwest School of Animal Massage, located on Vashon Island in Washington.  The program includes self-paced online study, in person instruction, supervised hands-on practice, and lastly, a series of ‘case studies’ to earn my certification.  I’ve recently completed the supervised hands-on practice component and am now ready to start on my case studies!

You may be wondering what a case study is.  Case studies are documented massage sessions that allow me to practice various approaches and techniques to a variety of individual pets. Each session is charted and submitted to my instructor for review and feedback.  If your family includes a dog or a cat, and you think they might enjoy a massage, I’d love to include them as one of my case studies!  The case study pet massages would happen in your home and are offered at no cost.  

On this site, I’ve included some helpful information on the benefits of massage as well as some Frequently Asked Questions.  The FAQ shares additional information on what I’m offering as well as important information on what you and your pet could expect in a massage session.
