About Paws & Restore
I founded Paws & Restore in 2026 after completing my Small Animal Massage certification from the Northwest School of Animal Massage, located on beautiful Vashon Island in the Puget Sound. After 2 decades in the ‘corporate world’ leading HR teams at several beloved companies (Stumptown Coffee, Peet’s Coffee and Williams Sonoma, to be exact!), I took a planned career break in 2025 to think about and plan my next move. How could I apply my strengths in empathy, care and compassion in a way that better aligns with my personal passions? Gets me out from behind a computer? Touches this wild world in a way that leaves it a little better than how I found it?
I have loved animals as long as I can remember and have had the joy of calling many dogs and cats (and one chinchilla!) members of my family over my lifetime. When I stumbled upon the website for the Northwest School of Animal Massage, I immediately thought…..oh my gosh, I think I’ve cracked the case!! I immediately enrolled in their Small Animal Massage certification course and the rest is history. The ability to give back to the creatures in our lives that give so much of themselves to us is a joy and privilege.

My Expertise & Training

Situated between the Hollywood and Beaumont Village neighborhoods, I’m continually taken aback by the beauty, pride and vibrancy of this community. Whether we're crossing paths at Grant or Wilshire Park, grabbing Whole Bowls, enjoying a beer at the Moon and Sixpence, or snagging a coffee from Prince, I hope to see you around the neighborhood soon!
